Customized Service Blocks

Purchase a pre-paid four- hour block of time to be used for any college service that you need, except for list development.  Possibilities include:

  •         Mock Interview            
  •         Essay development
  •         Activities resume editing
  •         Application review
  •         Essay brainstorming
  •         Academic/testing advice

Essentials (Grade-Based and Application Prep Packages)

5 session and 10 session packages 

  • Essay brainstorming and editing, academic record assessment, and development of brag sheet
  • The 10 session includes list building for 3-5 colleges

Application Review 

  • 1 session (2-hour maximum) which includes a review of the completed application.  Also, includes a report of our discussion along with consultant recommendations.

Packages available year by year

Freshman and/or Sophomore Year Plan (includes up to 25 hours of customized services):

o   Review of the academic record

o   Advice on high school course selection

o   Recommendations of extracurricular involvement and summer activities

o   Testing recommendations

o   Discussion about how to make high school a successful endeavor

Jumpstart College Prep Plan

o 10th through 12th grade (includes up to 35 hours of customized services)

  •  This plan maps out what you should be completing each year of high school, guidance on rigorous coursework selection, college selection, and college application.

Junior and Senior Year (includes up to 25 hours of customized services):

o   Review of prior academic accomplishments

o   Advice on college selection

o   Recommendations for extracurricular involvement

o   Testing Recommendations (SAT or ACT, when to schedule, is test prep necessary, etc.)

o   In-depth interview on college preferences of both student and parent

o   Advice on making successful college visits

o   Preparation of a selected list of colleges that is uniquely suited to the student

Senior Rush (Current High School Seniors Only)- (includes up to 25 hours)

o This plan covers college selection, resume writing, essay support, development, and editing, scholarship application review and essay critiques, and college application review.

Middle and First Year of High School Plan/ Introductory Family Consultation (includes up to 3 hours)- Any grade up to 9th grade

o   Discuss and clarify college goals

o   Discuss expectations and services

o   Assessment of student’s current personal snapshot

o   Discuss summer and year-round enrichment programs

All-Inclusive Package

Covers college list, application, and essay assistance. Includes all services in Junior and Senior Year Package above, Plus:

  • Action Plan with organization timeline
  • Binder with resources for use as an organizational tool
  • Essay brainstorming session, as needed
  • Editing of both common application essays
  • Editing of the activities resume
  • Editing of up to three supplemental essays
  • Review of applications
  • Recommendations and practice for college interviews
  • Help with making final choice when decision letters are received
